Q: When is the boating season at Cassidy’s Marina?
A: Most of our boaters enjoy the water from spring through mid-October. While we typically aim to have all vessels hauled out by Thanksgiving, we are happy to work with "hardcore" fishermen who want to stay in the water later into the season.
Q: Do you offer winter boat storage in Brick, NJ?
A: Yes! We offer full-service winter boat storage for both our seasonal slip customers and outside boaters. Our winterization services include professional shrink-wrapping and engine/system prep to keep your boat safe during the off-season.
Q: How far is the marina from Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean?
A: We offer a prime location for quick water access. By boat, we are only 2.5 miles from Barnegat Bay and approximately 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean via the Point Pleasant Canal.
Q: Do you have a boat ramp for public use?
A: We do not have a traditional ramp, but we utilize a 20-ton boat lift for professional hauling and launching. We also offer convenient boat trailer storage for our seasonal slip customers.
Q: Am I allowed to perform my own boat maintenance?
A: Absolutely. Cassidy’s is one of the few marinas in Ocean County that allows owners to work on their own boats. If you prefer a professional, we have on-site experts available. Outside mechanics are also welcome but must check in at the office with proof of insurance first.
Q: What is the water depth at Cassidy’s Marina?
A: Our marina features an approach depth of approximately 6 feet. Because the Metedeconk River is exceptionally deep, we are a premier destination for fixed-keel sailboats in the Brick and Point Pleasant area.
Q: Is there on-site parking near the boat slips?
A: Yes. We provide ample on-site parking, with many spots located directly next to or very close to your specific boat slip for easy loading and unloading.
